Speed episode. Labeling meth users Ne’er-do-wells??
I think this is a great podcast. I like some of the topics and discussions. I do take offense at the host stating that speed/methamphetamine is almost exclusively used by society’s ne-er do wells. The definition of which is lazy and irresponsible. As a recovering meth addict I feel I have the disease of addiction. It’s not that I wanted to be “lazy and irresponsible.” I also don’t blame people for doing drugs-illegal drugs. We are human and it feels good. Other than that I am pleased with this podcast.
Of course very good, but…
PJ makes great podcasts- no doubt about it. Great structure, interesting narrative- he knows what he’s doing. I just think he’s forgetting why RA purity spiraled. In the “why are there so many weed shops in NY”- something something straight white men. I’m not gonna be mean take off a star, but in X syntax, this isn’t the virtue signal you think it is- just an eyeroll. Nobody wants this anymore. Igcognito is on hold for me now, not willing to pay to be lectured.
I feel like a teenager again
This podcast has completely turned my world upside down in the most amazing way. I have learned the most unexpected things and I’m viewing the world so differently—in a positive way. This is a MUST listen podcast
Has me hooked!
I just signed up for Incognito Mode, and it dawned on me how much I thoroughly enjoy this show and want to support this super fascinating and well produced content. This show is rad! Highly recommend
Great show - fun deep dives
PJ excels at finding the kinds of questions that my friends and I are already asking ourselves. They’re the kinds of questions that come up over brunch or drinks, but no one has a satisfying answer. That is, until PJ dives in with an expert (or friend) to learn more. I look forward to each week’s question.
Love this show, even MORE with Ezra!
Love this show, even MORE with Ezra!
Solid show
I enjoy it, but after having been such a fan of reply all, not having Alex Goldman makes it feel as though something is missing.
Scam text messages
One of the best podcast episodes I’ve listened to in years— should be nominated for a journalism award.
Always interesting
The delivery of the questions and answers is simply fantastic every week. No matter the subject, even if it’s something I wouldn’t have been interested in otherwise - it’s going to be an enlightening listen.
Scammy text messages
This is what I came here for. Take the roaches down, and bring up the tech.
Question
This is a good show. Recommended. Question: I feela natural follow up to Scammy Texts is what the F is wrong with people. I mean, the majority of people I’ve known in my life have been at least decent if not great. And I can’t imagine even the worst people I’ve known enslaving and torturing other humans. And yet, this was done a bunch in the past and continues to be done today. Is it bad apples with leadership qualities spoiling the bunch? Are there certain conditions that create situations like this? Is it just greed? Greed does seem to explain most of the horrible things that happen in the world. But if it’s greed, then whyyyy????
REPLY ALL FANS REJOICE 😭
This podcast is true gold
Scammy text messages
The episode on why we get all these scammy text messages was so phenomenal and actually inspired me to write my first apple review. You guys always knock it out of the park but this one was particularly amazing! Keep up the good work! 🙌🙌🙌
Wonderful!
Missed Pj and Shruthi! The scam text episode was great. Always excited to see this in my feed.
Mind blown
Long time fan, first time written reviewer…. I loved Reply All and so glad to see PJ Vogt resurface here. …This most recent episode (about human trafficking behind random texts we commonly see) is astounding. Thank you for bringing the reporting on this to your podcast!
Hey PJ
You know what I never needed to learn about??? Marvel snap! What a time warp! Ha. Great game, ignoring my family and slacking at work with the best of ‘em! Love the show. And often the recommendations. And you have the best laugh.
A Very Thoughtful and Nuanced Pod
I really appreciate that the host digs deeply into topics and doesn’t always come away with clear answers. The journey is illuminating regardless of the destination.
Great
A winner, PJ is a welcome voice for eardrums everywhere. So much fun and an instant classic, this is what podcasts are for.
GREAT listens
Really good and interesting stories. Been following since Reply All. Forever fan.
Dance is Not Enough
Dance is Not Enough needs to be the title of Ben’s autobiography!
