Love PJ
So glad he’s back. Conversation with Ezra was so good. Gave me the push off Twitter I needed.
So glad you’re back!
Big Reply All fan here who realized after you left that I was actually just a big PJ fan. Also I came here to say I’m so glad you got off twitter after listening to the internet ep with Ezra! One more note, never edit out the laugh.
PJ the Goat
I thought Reply All was the best show ever but Search Engine has topped that. In particular the most recent episode with Ezra Klein about getting off social media hit me hard as I had quit Twitter 2 1/2 months ago after being on for over 16 years and I thought that no one could understand why I did it, but this episode encompassed everything I was thinking, and makes me feel not so crazy for not being on social media anymore. Sorry for the run-on sentence. and yes, I sleep with my phone under my pillow but I’m going to stop that too. Nothing is so important that I need to be notified right at that moment.
Comfort
I went back to listen to old episodes of another podcast, because I missed PJs voice. That led me to stumble onto this podcast, and I am so pleased. So pleased to have this man’s familiar voice educating me on things I didn’t know I wanted to know about. I like that someone else with anxiety, eases me through mine.
Great find
I listen while I’m running and every time I have to stop and laugh at least once. I think I’m either smiling or smirking the whole time.
Love the Show
I love the show and my awesome ability to write a title. I’m so glad PJ came out with this podcast, I love the questions and find it enlightening to think about things I a different way. While listening to the episode about finding new music, I have never felt so seen as when PJ was talking about discovering music on TikTok and feeling guilty over liking a pop song. This spoke to me on a real deep and adulty level that only recovering punk/emo kids in their late 30s can feel. A+++ from a fellow irrelevant old lady.

Search Engine I love hearing PJ's laugh back on the mic.
Excellent podcast
I really enjoyed Crypto Island but am glad to have PJ again telling stories over a wider variety of interesting topics. As one would expect, PJ’s interviewing and storytelling are always exceptional. I look forward to each new episode. Very glad to have PJ back doing what he so obviously loves.

I’m so happy PJ is back, this podcast rules.
Worth a listen
As one person put it, this one brings back that playful, maybe sometimes dark—but mostly interesting spirit of curiosity about the world we’re currently living in.
Love this show!
Loved PJ on Reply All, but this one is even better. Great reporting, and wonderful blend of humor while digging into interesting topics.
Top notch pod!
I’m not one to review podcasts generally, but have enjoyed the first several episodes enough to type this into the void. Well produced, edited, and interesting. Glad to have PJ Vogt back in my podcast rotation.
Ah, Finally
I loved Reply All, but dang - it went downhill quickly after PJ left. Search Engine contains the exact kind of storytelling that I came to enjoy so much from PJ. I’m very glad it exists.
So glad to have PJ back!
Reply All (prior to PJ’s departure) was my favorite podcast. Every Little Thing was also ripped away from me by Spotify. This is the lovechild of super tech support and Every Little Thing. PJ’s personality (along with his relationship to Alex, which, sadly, this podcast lacks) were sorely missed. So glad to have it back.
I'm really enjoying this show
I'm really enjoying this show. Each episode has been very interesting and I'm learning a lot about so many subjects. Most of the episodes have been eye openers for me. Some have really gotten to me.
Glad I clicked
I have listened to two episodes thus far and have been pleasantly surprised at the quality information presented. I may have the title wrong but I was intrigued by the episode about loving one’s job/work and the episode about drinking airline coffee. Um, since nobody asked: I hated my job and will never drink airline coffee again. I appreciate hosts who get right into the topic and don’t insult me by not doing research and /or due diligence. I have subscribed. I’ll listen to past episodes and look forward to new ones. Took a chance and was handsomely rewarded. Thanks!
Like a warm cup of tea on a cool autumn night
Do you have a friend who's really smart? Just kind of knows everything, but who's still curious about what they don't know? That's PJ. He's such a gee-shucks kind of guy that you get lulled into a false sense of security while he's talking, and then BOOM he hits you with some KNOWLEDGE.
The Spiritual Succesor to Reply All
I miss Reply All a lot and this show feels like if Super Tech Support was an hour long podcast, which is totally fine with me. Thank you and great job guys.
Innumerable Health Benefits
PJ is like a probiotic supplement for the soul, chicken soup for a lost wanderer, a shelter against the storm of life where friends gather to corroborate details about the terrible things they’ve seen. If you love your life, you should definitely be listening.
Good Job, PJ
I am happy to hear this, well produced and entertaining while learning interesting things. What a dumpster fire you walked away from and this is a great outcome.
He’s back!!
Just so so happy to be able to listen to PJ’s unique, sincere, quirky and just thoroughly enjoyable storytelling again. Will be anxiously awaiting a new episode each week.
This podcast has been a revelation
This podcast has been a revelation. I listened to my first episode, “Does anyone actually like their job?” and walked away feeling like I had a major breakthrough in a therapy session. The host was able to articulate experiences and feelings that I found relatable and then shared what he learned in a way that made me feel like I was doing the teaching. Thank you. You have provided me with needed insight and I express my gratitude.
Recommend
PJ Vogt has a beautiful way to teach you about the most random topics but in a relational and captivating way that draws you in to want to know more about both the topic he is sharing about and the person he is interviewing.
